Fixed Costs
Costs you pay whether the truck moves or not. Enter each as monthly or annual using the selector.
Variable Costs
Costs that scale with the miles you run. Fuel is computed from your MPG and pump price.
Set driver pay to what you actually pay yourself. If you run for a percent, the tool solves the math so pay rises with the rate.
Rate Assumptions
Deadhead miles cost you money but earn nothing. Your loaded rate has to carry them, which is why the loaded breakeven is higher than the all-miles number.
Your Numbers
Breakeven per all-in mile spreads cost across every mile you run. Breakeven per loaded mile is the number to quote against, because brokers pay loaded miles only. Any loaded rate below $0.00 loses money at your current deadhead.
